‘Deva’ Boat Trip
The Deva is skippered by Jamie Duff. She’s an 11 metre vessel with sheltered seating for twelve passengers. On fine days, the transparent coverings can be zipped away, giving a totally outdoor seafaring experience as we keep watch for dolphins, whales and basking sharks or the many species of seabird that inhabit waters, cliffs and islands of the Skellig Coast.
Your deckhand will have answers to your many questions on such topics. This may be Liam Ellis – who knows fresh water pursuits as well as salt, or Des Lavelle, author of Skellig – Experience the Extraordinary, commentator on Skellig topics for many seafaring years.
The Deva’s on-board facilities include all the regulatory safety items, as well as a marine toilet for passengers use.
